Blake Shelton has responded to criticism of some of his older,Hannah Harper Archives truly horrific tweets that were recently brought to light. In his apology, The Voicejudge attributed his comments to his esteemed comedy skills.

"Everyone knows comedy has been a major part of my career and it's always been out there for anyone to see," tweeted the country singer in a note.

Everyone knows that the words "anybody who who may have been offended" are the hallmark of a genuine apology.
